The Intentional Prayer Technique

What Do You Want?

Decide what single thing you want to do, what you want to accomplish.

Decide what single thing you want to receive, what you need.

Decide who you want to help and how (one thing).

Whatever you decide is your intention. You can use this intention in your intentional prayer to help yourself or to help another. Write down your intention in a short sentence. Write one short sentence for each intention.  Choose one intention.

Your prayer is composed by first calling upon Deity using the name for Deity you choose to use. Secondly, you ask for what you want by using your short sentence. If you're praying for others, add each of their intentions one at a time by giving their name and reading their intention.  Finally, thank the Divine for listening to your petition and granting your request.

The Power Of Praying For Others

When a group of people pray for something the power of that prayer is magnified many times.  Researchers working in groups of four or five found that their prayers helped other people heal much faster even if the recipient didn't know they were receiving he benefit of the prayers offered to the Divine by others.

Researchers at Universal Seminary found that groups of five people praying for something to help other people were much more successful at attaining results from their prayers than individuals praying for themselves.

The Message is Clear

For best results, join a prayer group where the members of the group pray for everybody else in the group.  If you can't find a group, form your own group or join the Intentional Prayer Network.  This is a six month commitment, but you can change your intention as often as necessary to improve the quality of your life.
